Brazilian Zouk
From Brasília, teaching Brazilian Zouk across Brazil and abroad — Bali, Mexico, Germany and Denmark.
Fabrício is from Brazil and currently based in Brasília. He started dancing at age 16 and had his first contact with teaching dance in 2017, at the Império Dance School, helping in Patrícia’s classes. That same year, he started as a Monitor (an assistant) for Brazilian Zouk with Augusto Freire. That’s when he fell in love with Brazilian Zouk and decided to dedicate himself fully to the dance.
He went in search of more knowledge in other schools and congresses and, after this period of learning, he started working with Priscila Borges, his mentor and first partner. They worked with creating a community, regular classes, and study groups in Brasília, and workshops and congresses throughout Brazil.
More recently, he has been working with Brazilian Zouk abroad as well — in Bali, Mexico, Germany and Denmark. Fabrício also has training in other styles of dance, such as bachata, samba, tango, bolero, and electronic forró.

Brazilian Zouk · Cuban dance · Lambada
Over 23 years teaching Cuban dance, seven dedicated to Brazilian Zouk, and one of the people who built the Zouk community in Bali.
Dhwani’s dance journey began as a child, growing up surrounded by a family of dancers. Her first steps were in street jive and samba, eventually leading her to Cuban Salsa. In 2002, she began working at a Salsa Club while developing her own dance practice, and soon became a teaching assistant before growing into a main instructor.
With over 23 years of experience teaching Cuban dance — including Cuban Salsa, Orishas and Afro-Cuban dance — and 7 years dedicated to Brazilian Zouk, Dhwani has trained in Cuba and Brazil and continues to learn from international artists and professionals. She has taught across Indonesia and internationally in the Netherlands, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and Bangkok. She also teaches Lambada, a dance form she believes can greatly support and deepen a dancer’s understanding of Brazilian Zouk.
Her teaching is deeply rooted in foundations and understanding. Rather than simply memorizing movements, Dhwani encourages students to understand the mechanics of movement, how their own bodies work, and how they can integrate each movement naturally into their own body. From strong foundations, students can develop connection, musicality, dynamics, creativity and their own expression.
In Zouk, Dhwani especially loves exploring the possibilities within the basics — transforming simple movements into creative illusions and unexpected expressions.
Beyond teaching, Dhwani is a community leader and one of the pioneers who helped establish and grow the Zouk community in Bali. Through her teaching, events and workshops, she continues to create spaces where dancers can learn, connect and grow together.
